Carole Hooven is the author of T: The Story of Testosterone, the Hormone that Dominates and Divides Us. From 2002 until 2023 she was a Lecturer in the department of Human Evolutionary Biology, and served for many years as the department's Co-Director of Undergraduate Studies. Her "Hormones and Behavior" class was named one of Harvard Crimson's "top ten tried and true" courses. She is now an associate in the Harvard Department of Psychology.
